“When I approach my new artwork , I try to find the beginning - where it starts. The next thing is finding the very first group of cultural assumptions. “Big Foot” is an identity piece. For humans standing is what differentiates us. Orthostasis, from the Greek orthos (upright) and histanai (to stand). The starting point of our human erectness is our base, our feet. What determines who we become starts here.”
